Laser Therapies

Medical Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is one of the focal points of our therapeutic protocols. It counts among the most effective and most modern therapies available to biological medicine. Studies demonstrate: stabilisation, vitalisation, improved lab test results and many other positive effects even on therapy-resistant forms of diseases.

Intravascular Laser Blood Irradiation Therapy

A special IV cannula is inserted into the vein in the forearm (as with an infusion) and connected to a single-use catheter, which in turn is connected to the laser device.

The Therapy

  • is applied at very low power of 1-3mW
  • treatment sessions last only 20-60 minutes
  • is applied 3-5 times per week, with a total of up to 10 treatments
  • combines the effects of different laser wavelengths (red, green, blue, infrared, yellow) and has no known side-effects
  • can be combined with other therapies (e.g. infusions, intravenous oxygen therapy, apheresis)

In cases of chronic disease, or to prevent relapse, it makes sense to repeat the treatment every 2 to 4 weeks, as a repeat or maintenance therapy.

The Biological Effect of Laser Therapy (LLLT)

Thanks to the excellent scientific studies undertaken in Russia many effects of Laser Blood Therapy have been confirmed.

Intra-articular Therapy for Osteoarthritis

In addition to the application in intravascular laser therapy, the new technology also facilitates the direct intra-articular treatment of damaged articulated joints (e.g. knee, hip, or shoulder). First, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is taken from the patient’s blood, which is then injected into the joint and irradiated with laser light. As a rule, 1-2 treatments are sufficient.
